Excellent help
I really liked this audiobook; it was incredibly helpful. I had the belief that childhood trauma was caused only by physical or psychological abuse. However, with this book, I learned that we all have some kind of trauma to address and that everyone needs to work on healing their inner child. I gained valuable insight into recognizing the signs of trauma and learning the steps to heal. I loved the methods for reconnecting with my inner child, particularly how bringing back old memories through music worked very well. Talking to my inner child and saying the words she needed to hear was also impactful. Mindfulness is a powerful tool for healing. Overall, this is a great book to start the process of healing your inner child.

the steps it takes to heal your inner self
This book is a wonderful guide that helps you to face the past, and shows you the practical steps to heal. It starts from helping you to face the past, dig into what really matters, how it started, really go to the origins and deep dive into the cause. So you can start thinking about what matters now, and how to talk out of it. The past traumas are all in the past, and we will eventually move forward. and this book shows you the path of that.

Such an empathetic helpful guide
Listening to this book has really helped me with some unresolved issues from my childhood. I know now how these issues can continue to affect us as adults, and it has helped me to understand how healing these wounds can lead to significant personal growth and development. The book emphasises understanding your inner child as the first step towards healing. It is helpful that that the author insists on acknowledging past traumas or negative experiences which may have affected your inner child. I now understand that validating the emotions of your inner child is crucial instead of suppressing them. One of my favourite quotes from the book is “ Healing begins when we date to feel what we were once afraid to feel”. I thoroughly recommend this book as a helpful aid to healing your inner child.
