Empowerment & emotional intelligence
This audio book will be particularly effective for people who prefer to engage with the spoken word, participate and listen with their child or children.
It gives a constructive, non-judgemental way to guide young children to slow down, create boundaries, empower themselves and choose their reactions. It provides an easy to use approach to deal with any child who experiences worry, anxiety or any type of phobia. It also gives a list of words and definitions, which will help people understand their feelings and help articulate what is going on inside.
A very practical audio book with a toolbox of solutions to promote mindfulness and strategies to redirect negative thoughts into more positive ones. A range of activities can be easily completed alongside the narrative - for example using yoga on YouTube, breathing exercises, colouring, word searches and using the imagination.
Audio is a format which is very accessible for children. It can be paused, book marked, speeded up or slowed down - to suit individual needs.
