About this listen
Quiet days are to be treasured—but sooner or later, they always end.
After curing the Corruption plague in Fiend territory, Rob, Riardin's Rangers, and the Deserters have settled into their new home. It's given them the stability they've been striving for ever since being forced to flee The Village so many months ago. Unfortunately, their well-earned rest is cut short when a Dwarven messenger arrives, begging for assistance.
The Blight has returned. And without Rob's help, Dwarven territory will fall.
Naturally, things aren't that straightforward. As the mission evolves into something even beyond killing an eldritch abomination, Rob's strength and willpower will be tested. Whether it's mingling with world leaders, contemplating the Dragon Queen's fraying sanity, or discovering shocking secrets about the system itself, there's never a dull moment for Riardin's Rangers. Maybe one day they'll get the lasting peace they so desperately desire.
But for now, there are enemies that need killing.

Best one so far.
After a long wait, it's finally here and the book is even better than expected.
The action is great (Rob is a killing machine as always), and the pacing is perfect.
Some secrets of the world get revealed in a big way and the excitement keeps building. The characters are interesting and the situations they find themselves in get even more insane.
Narration is also pretty solid overall. Can't complain.
Can't wait for the next one.

So far as unfished review a few spoiler.
I am only 9 hr in and this about to broke me. I do play at 1.2 speed so it really like 5hr for me. I will update this is if i manage to get few it.
This is was broke me so far and that cus it makings no sense.
Nothing dramatic as happened so let add soul eater to equation. My thought on this is fine but why he going after 2 at one? Especially when you found out that he should been alot smart about it as he been living for more then one live time.
In that same bit why did not one off them leave the party? Massage is blocked but why did they not used leave party system messaging as befor they used this system for 1+ year they only just unlock massage. They can see each other heal and status rang should not be issued as in book 3 sad so as party member could see.
Other part is with the Dr and rob forcing the Dr to kill someone. By letting someone to massive kill alot people and kids if he didnt do it. This gose against mc beliefs you could say call my buff but it dose not make sense. In book 3 he was like i need to make sure that my team dose not go off the rails.
Other think this is covered up by the dr saying i was fine with it after seen what he as done. I am only up to the 9hr point in book there no repercussions of this. The fact that 2 combat class would easy allow one them to kill the population to he done it is not counter for.
(If a Dr as a stong oath is not to kill someone and you enforce this here should be repercussions)
I got to point that i had to put the audio book down and plan not picking it up for few days as i think i need to forget previous books. Other think is why would i listening to main MC who dose not like bullying but is bullying other people. Bullying in trems of using higher status so on to get this way no matter what.
