Epic start
this book was so enjoyable I very much enjoyed the book the world is amazing and well done you get pulled in and want to dive deeper into the history and lore about the world the characters are very interesting there’s story’s are great they get more and more interesting as u progress and you see them grow and start to really like them and there storys the writing and narration was done very well i really can’t wait to start the next one

A solid and action packed story
I listened to each book one after the other even sitting listening over the weekend when i could have been doing other things.
this has only happened for a dozen of the 300+ books in my Auduble collection.

Great series start and one of my favourite Narrators
Pavi brings me joy and makes the funny bits funnier. I got book two in 15 min of finishing book 1 and the delay was coz I got a call. I’m heavily invested in this story. Well done first defier- I see why this story was popular on royal road now.

An excellent progression story!
Really loved this book. Excellent magic/skill system and some great character, world and town building. Found 1 or 2 voices to be a little irritating on the audiobook but easily overlooked with a very interesting story

Battles, upgrades, monsters, war, travel, treasures.

Way better than first impressions
Usually with these kinds of litRPG's there is a big drop off in quality after the start but the book moves from strength to strengths every new chapter building and playing off the previous chapters I look forward to the next book and plan to follow this authors other works too.

Great all round!
This book is different from the standard post apocalyptic litrpgs and I LOVE IT.
The story follows an MC called Zac who turns into a total badass. He makes rational choices and shows great signs of future growth.
The story is well written and the system is relatively unique. It's a long story but the author does a great job enthralling the listener.
Finally the narrator does a fantastic job. He really bought the characters alive.
I can't wait for the next book to be released!
