Pretty Fun Read
If you love the MMORPG genre then you'll love this; it's not the best I've read, but it's up there and beats out all of the ridiculous amounts of stuck in an MMO fantasy world that animé studios keep spitting out. At least in book form they aren't going to rush it out so that it feels lifeless.

A life-Long sci-Fi fan, I’ve only just got into lit RPG books - this was a fantastic listen and I can’t wait for the next book.

Weirdly entertaining
I don’t understand why the story with all the stats and player options being read was so enjoyable nut it was. Nice how the layers and scope of the story keep expanding.

my favourite litrpg
3rd i have gone through and has the most potential, has key aspects to it which will build up to a great story. Improves on the land mainly through the guide character (ex plainer)

A good story behind character sheets
I like this kind of story a lot; however, this story has one major issue. character screens and info panels are constantly read aloud. The book gets better towards the end point as it starts to truncate the info. I found myself really finding it hard to keep engaged with the story due to this. I think in written form, it probably was less of an issue. But still, the story is very good and interesting, and I am going to continue into the next books.

Life reset
I loved it! The story is engrossing with so much going on. The characters are believable and have their own quirks and personalities. Vic is especially enjoyable, developing as the story progresses. The narrator really brings the story to life with incredible inflections, emotions and a great range of differing voices. I would highly recommend this audio book and can't wait for the second in the series to be narrated.

really enjoyable and immersive !
Great story telling by Jeff Hayes and the writing is gripping and fun. but I need to say beware of this book as once you start this series you won't be able to stop. I have gone through books 1-4 and they all keep up a good pace and are really engaging. if you are looking to be transported to another world this is the book for you!
