• ReBoot Your Health: Geting Started (again) with Marisa Mancke
    Jun 14 2024

In today’s episode my guest is Marisa Mancke, Founder and Owner of Happy Hour by Marisa talks to Dr. Rachel about how to get started moving your bodies again after a long break or perhaps for the first time. Marisa discusses showing up as best you can and how a change in mindset help her break free of the idea that exercise was a punishment or something you did because you were fat… or to prevent getting fat.

I asked Marisa what the best time of the day is to exercise and her answer might surprise you.

Plus, we talk about the importance of inclusion and her Summer Camp for kids in August where kids learn about nutrition and use play as “exercise” with the goal of a healthy, happier community. I haven’t stopped thinking about this interview since it was recorded, and I hope it resonates with you too.
