• The Finisher episode 2.6
    Feb 27 2024
Anxiety, what is happening to me? Hosted by Efrosinya Vshivkoff. In today's episode we will be talking about having anxiety while doing a task. As a finisher our goal is to finish anything we start. Our tendency to look at the finish line takes away from the joy of performing the task at hand. In this episode you will learn why we feel anxiety all the way from point A to point B. How to manage that anxiety, and in the end what to do to enjoy what you're doing. Tasks like driving, doing laundry, teaching kids a second language, and others. To help offset costs of creating the podcast take a look at my website and consider investing in your health. I believe that everyone needs this in their lives. www.avinihealth.com/effie --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/efrosinya-vshivkoff/support

  • Conversations 2.3
    Oct 17 2023
Anxiety, what is happening to me? Hosted by Efrosinya Vshivkoff. In this episode we talk about how our brain doesn’t distinguish between a real threat or a perceived threat during a conversation. When a spouse, child, or best friend is talking about something that feels threatening to us we feel anxious. We feel this persistent feeling of dread and that causes us to want to state our opinion or interrupt the conversation. That’s our bodies way of stopping the perceived threat. Learning to manage our reaction will help ease the anxiety and allow more deeper meaningful conversations. To learn more about nano silver click on this link. In this episode of, anxiety what is happening to me I talk about why I started this podcast. I explain how I found out about anxiety. I believe that knowledge is power and that we feel anxiety everyday in so many different ways. I don’t talk about self-care very much because that is easy to find. I have this podcast so you can have those “a-ha” moments and be able to address your anxiety and not play the victim. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/efrosinya-vshivkoff/support

  • Anxiety and Listening
    May 16 2023

This podcast is about listening and feeling anxiety while you're trying to listen. I will cover listening to a friend, a spouse or partner, and a child.

Speaking to a friend I will cover feeling self-conscious, drinking alcohol to tamp down your anxiety, scared you will forget your idea, and talking a lot.

Speaking to a spouse or partner I will cover expectations, scared they are planning one executing on what they are talking about, fear of not being heard, talking about their feelings towards something you did, already heard that story before, and when you hate the idea they are talking about.

Speaking to a child I will cover being afraid of what they will say, thinking of all the things that need to get done instead of focusing on your child, and giving your child options.

We will finish off with psalm 69. How asking God to quickly help you in the moment is encouraged so that you're a better listener and not giving in to your feelings of anxiety.

If you are doing everything possible for your anxiety and praying for help and still nothing is helping. Check out Cell Defender. That's what I take and has helped me so much. www.avinihealth.com/effie
