About this listen
"You got married on your divorce-cation?"
That would unfortunately be correct.
I was hanging with the girls, celebrating my divorce, when I saw him - my crush, sitting in the corner of the bar, and all alone. Being single and looking for a wild night, I asked him if he wanted to join me. To my delight, he said yes.
Drinks were consumed, fun was had, and then....one drunken conversation with a cranky gondolier in Las Vegas led to an Uber lift through a drive-through wedding chapel with the incredibly hot British bad boy Pike Greyson. On paper, it seemed like I had hit the jackpot. And if I wasn't fresh from a toxic marriage, I would have absolutely noticed the finer things about him.
But I wanted nothing to do with being married, so when I arrived back home from my eventful weekend in Vegas, the last thing I expected to see was a new doting husband already moved in. I asked for an annulment; he pulled a Ross Geller and said no. That's right, he said no! Instead, he asked for three months to prove we could be good together.
Insanity clearly knocked him in the head, and the only way I could convince him to give up on our sham of a marriage was to show him just how wrong we were for each other. The only problem with that was, he saw right through my every prank, every trick, and every yearning emotion I attempted to mask.

A HILARIOUS FUN READ
I laughed out loud at the ridiculously daft antics of pay back, the two main characters played on each other!🤣
I would highly recommend this novel to cheer anyone up 👌

Vegas Fun to HEA
Cora and Pike. They started out with a drunken night in Vegas on her divorce-cation and ended up with an HEA.
The in-between put me through a lot of feelings . I really enjoyed the part in Vegas but then I was mad at Pike. Later on, I became VERY ANGRY at Cora. Then I ugly cried and I hated them both. At the same time, I loved them both so much and really enjoyed this book.
The side characters are also great, with Keiko, once again, stealing the show. Vanessa Edwin was great as Cora and this book reminded me how much I like John Hartley.

I loved it!
This is a great Romantic Comedy. I loved the characters, the banter, the push and pull relationship, the sizzling chemistry, and the sweet romance. Cora is lovely, and determined. Pike is handsome. The supporting characters are great! I loved to see again Cora's friends, Stella, Greer, and Keiko. Some scenes are hilarious!! I love the friendship in this story. This novel is interconnected with Earn You Extra Credit, and See Me after Class. Vanessa Edwin and John Hartley did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

5 Fireball Stars
We’re back with the teaching staff at Forest Heights High School, Put Me In Detention sees sexy British teacher Pike Greyson marrying Arlo’s sister Coraline ‘Cora’ Turner in Vegas following a very drunken gondola ride. Instead of getting an annulment, like any sane, sensible person would, Pike uses the situation to his advantage and moves himself into Cora’s little apartment. Much to Cora’s dismay. For the record, Cora does not want to be married to Pike, no matter how much she’s ‘swooned’ after him in the past. She wants him out, and she’s willing to do pretty much anything to get rid of him. Herein ensues a laugh out loud, fun and steamy rollercoaster ride. Alas, all fairground rides have to come to an end, and Cora and Pike’s ride has a few unexpected twists and turns that cause this ride to come to a crashing halt. So many emotions between these two, I loved them. There was also a very unexpected constant throughout this story, Keiko, she really comes into her own, I love her brutal honesty, and we get to see a more emotional side to her this time round. I loved her unexpected friendship with Pike, so sweet. The audio version is narrated by Vanessa Edwin and John Hartley (new to me), and they were perfect, all the feels and all the emotions coming through. The story has interconnecting characters from previous books, but this can most definitely be read as a standalone.

Cora and Pike!
Cora and her friends have decided that a trip to Vegas to celebrate her divorce is exactly what she needs. It was supposed to be some fun and maybe a fling, but she certainly wasn’t supposed to return home married to Pike, who shares a less than friend relationship with her brother Arlo who works at the same school as he does.
Pike’s relationship with his father is confrontational so he decided to move to the US to get the distance he needs. Although a marriage to Cora wasn’t part of his plans, he has his reasons for wanting to stay married and every attempt she makes to convince him to give her an annulment only intrigues him more.
The interactions between them were humorous and hot but there was certainly an emotional pull to the story as they realize what many would consider a mistake might must be the best thing to ever happen to them. The narrators were a perfect choice for the characters as they brought out the sweet and sexy personality of Pike as well as the sassy yet insecure personality of Cora and made this enjoyable story even better.

You’ll love the Rom Com love story
What can I say about this laughter on the floor love story. Meghan the author knows how to write a couple that Is meant for each other .
Heroine is Coraline. Hero is Pike.
They both meet in Vegas , Coraline celebrating her divorce with her beasties , Next thing Coraline knows is she sees Pike . Pike is a history teacher at her brothers high school. Granted she finds him attractive. Pike finds Coraline attractive also .
When Coraline finally goes home not only does she find herself married, but Pike has already moved in.
Coraline needs to find away to get Pike out but giving up on the marriage. She tries one thing after another. You’ll laugh at some of the stunts Coraline tries
Vanessa Edwin, John Hartley Performance is fantastic. They will pull you right into the story

Another great Meghan Quinn listen!
Leave it to Meghan Quinn. Cora went on her divorce-cation only to end up married to someone else. I spent a ton of time cracking up while listening to Cora & Pike's story play out! The story was told in a way that only Meghan can tell it. Lots of steamy scenes too! Excellent Narration by Vanessa Edwin & John Hartley.

A Brilliant Fake Relationship Romance Read
After finishing up Earn Your Extra Credit with Pike making his way onto the scene, I was eagerly anticipating Put Me In Detention. Cora and Pike seemed like an opposites attract kind of couple but they find themselves married in Vegas and now both are trying to figure out what they are going to do about it.
I loved Pike's persistence at the start of the book to remain married to Cora. The whole scenario provided lots of laughs, while Cora tried many creative ways to get Pike to run away and serve an annulment. They seem to go head to head a lot but both are just as stubborn as the other and neither would back down. Of course their true compatibility begins to show through and I really enjoyed seeing them both slowly give in to the attraction between them.
With a great plot, awesome secondary characters Put me in Detention really is a great read from start to finish. I have listened to the Audiobook also and I found Vanessa Edwin's performance brilliant. The narrator for Pike (John Hartley) gave a good performance; but I found his English accent as a Brit myself a little posh and stereotypical, but that is a personal preference on my my part.
The bonus of this book is the HEA that is served up for Keiko too. Her friendship with Pike was unexpected but oh so perfect, it was the sweetest relationship and I adored these two characters in scene together. Meghan left me satisfied with her newest release, with a few jaw dropping surprises when it came to Pike along the way (I think we need a book set in this world he came from) and left me wanting more of his brother Killian too.

"You got married on your divorce-cation?"
I belly laughed so much at this book, I've loved the whole series, Earn Your Extra Credit definitely is my favorite so far, but this story following Cora and the new History teacher, Pike Greysons was hilarious.
Cora went to Vegas to celebrate getting rid of her cheating husband, only to end up getting drunk on Fireball and winding up with a new husband, her teacher brothers new British co-worker, and infuriatingly, the man refuses to give her an annulment or a divorce, in fact, hes insisted that they try living together! The comedy ensues as Cora does her best to lose a husband in 30 days and he's doing his best to win her over so his father cant ruin the charity board he runs with his brother.
John Hartley's accent was a bit cringy in parts but Vanessa Edwin did an amazing job.
Very much enjoyed this.
