About this listen

From USA Today best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a deliciously delightful romantic comedy centered in New York City about falling in love with your best friend's sister.

How do you date your best friend's sister? Easy.

Step one: Pretend you want her to set you up with someone else. That will bring the two of you closer.

Step two: Go on date with lots of random women, proceed to get stupid drunk, and talk about your best friend's sister, thus gaining the courage to finally make a move.

Step three: Randomly show up at her apartment and confess your love. Women love that, right?

It all seemed so simple. A fool-proof three step process that will guarantee the love of your life to fall madly in love with you.

At least - that's what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She's smart - really smart - and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I've tried slinging her way. She's not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she's not giving in that easy....

Pure, hilarious perfection!! Full 5 Stars!!

Are you looking for a book that is impossible to put down? Something where you’re going to walk around your house doing your chores or laundry just so you can listen to the audiobook? Well look no further! I devoured this story! Simple tasks took twice as long. I found myself just standing there smiling at the antics and the fun-ness of this story. It I do not regret a single minute spent with Bram and Jules.

One chapter in and I already know me and Bram are going to hit it off! I love his narrative! It’s light and fun. His candor is honest and a bit sexy. Bram’s combination of wit and charm is something that can’t be created... it’s born! Most the time I fall for the female main character... there’s just something about those strong females that I can’t help but adore. While Julia is fan-friggin-tastic, Brams is the showcase here though! Miss Quinn has seriously outdone herself! Bram is totally the man! I can’t help but seriously be enamored by his charm and cockiness. I love how he knows who and what he wants and plans for it.

These two... Bram and Rath. Goodness these are two funny guys! This had me rolling: “Julia, I finally think I’m ready to introduce you to my other half, the man of my dreams, the shell to my pistachio nut, my best friend of all time, Bram Scott.” I couldn’t have said it better.”

Now, I’m thinking I need the drunk Irishman to fall in love next! I’m crossing my fingers for Roark or even Rath to be up next!! Miss Quinn’s writing is magnetic! I’m drawn into her story and just plain captivated. Her wit knows no bounds. She’s a riot!

I know, I often find myself raving about Meghan Quinn. Her books, her characters, she just slays me! Anyways, Tor Thom has a strong and deep baritone. At first, it was a bit difficult to see this voice for Bram. Bram seems light and carefree so his voice being so strong was a bit of an adjustment at first. Soon though, I didn’t even notice… and those sexy times were smoking!! Charley Ongel is a great counter-voice for Thom. She’s soft and sweet sounding but still light and sexy. They are a seriously fantastic mix!

A wonderful, sweet, addictive romantic comedy

An angst free, super sexy, cute romance following Bram Scott, who has loved Julia Westin, his best friend’s sister since college. Fast forward 10 years, and he finally decides to make his move, possibly going about it all the wrong way, but nevertheless it’s fun watching all this pan out. Adorable characters, a cute story and even though Bram is sweet, gentle and tender, he has some alpha traits and a dirty mouth that make him the perfect book boyfriend, even the fact that he has no clue how to ask the woman of his dreams out makes him even more lovable. Great characters, a wonderful, predictable and addictive read make this book everything I love in a romantic comedy. Narration from Charley Ongel and Tor Thom.

Bram and Jules!

Just when you need it, Meghan Quinn comes through with a feel good, funny story that you just cannot stop listening to! Slightly taboo, though it never felt like it, we meet Bram who is determined to finally go after the woman of his dreams, his best friend Rath's sister. Now Bram and Julia have known each other a long time, and while she has seen him young and immature, Bram is sure he can win her over now. And the best way to do that is to become a client of her dating service. Then our fun begins. Talk about chemistry. From their first meeting. Quinn has developed their aura so well, it's impossible to miss. Bram is not only wealthy and good looking, but his charm and humor is so easy to be attracted to, I couldn't imagine any woman passing him by! Julia(or Jules as he so loved to call her) is a little more up tight. I can totally relate to that, wanting to know what is happening, where life is going, are they in it for life. I loved their banter, had me smiling and at times laughing out loud. This is one you will love as you take their journey to finding their happily ever after.

Narrated by the talented team of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, we can feel the chemistry immediately! Thom as the devilish Bram adds the love and humor to the story with his warm voices. Ongel finds the perfect balance of straight and narrow along with the extremely passionate for Jules. I found this to be the perfect escape from my day and enjoyed every minute.
