About this listen
A gunslinger with four affinities is a myth.
It's the kind of story whispered in frontier saloons one drink before closing and around campfires in the dead of night. For the heroes and villains in those tales, that impossible power is a boon, a gift.
For Mr. Jones, it's a curse.
Of course, that's not his real name. He's had many.
Changing names is necessary when you possess a power that every lawman and outlaw would kill to obtain. To survive, you keep your head down, kill when you must, and never stay in one place too long. It's a life governed by rules and hard lessons, drilled into him from a young age after his parents were murdered because of his gift.
Since then, the trail of bodies has only grown longer.
But all that is about to change. After years of chasing two-bit bounties, honing his skills, and growing his core, he's finally caught the scent of the man he's been searching for the first of four bodies that will end this carnage once and for all.
Now, it's time to put his cursed powers to use.
It's time for revenge.

Wild West with elemental guns!!!
Flamespitter is not the normal type of LITRPG that I would have gotten, as the US Wild West has never interested me. There is no system, no external reason they can use elements; it's just a part of their everyday lives.
However the narration is amazing and includes Ryan H. Reid, Andrea Parsneau, and Jeff Hays who bring Jonathan Smidt storytelling to life, there is tension, suspense, and revenge, the characters are complex and have depth and the music at the end of each chapter was nice,
By the end of the book, I realized I enjoyed the story and was disappointed it was over, I really can't pick out much of anything that I didn't like about it.
I am very much looking forward to the second installment.

Avatar in the Wild West
If you like a western flick then look no further than this. A well paced story with elements of magic and revenge with a sprinkle of humour. The performances are fun as well as the music and effects. Can’t wait for the next book.

Westling with magic
a surprising take on the cowboy genre. combining magic and guns was a fresher approach to fantasy and it worked well. overall if you like gun, magic and mayhem you will love it.

A taste of the west
I haven't listened to a western themed audiobook before but this one was great. The performances were excellent, really adding a gruff wild west feel while still being clear and easy to follow. Little musical additions added to the ambience and added a touch of class.
The story was good fun and has really set the theme for the next few books in the series and I will definitely be listening to them!
