About this listen

A town put to the sword. The young forcibly recruited. An old man out for revenge.

The first three books in the Artorian's Archives series, over 36 hours of cultivation adventure!

After his town is put to the sword and the children are taken to replace the fallen, an old man is out for revenge. He’s ready to fail at the most difficult challenge in the world: cultivation.

Too corrupted to even take the first steps, the sly old elder simply agreed with those who told him that it was impossible. Then he quietly ignored them, rubbed his hands together, and started anyway. He had always failed in what he did: He lost his way from the academy, his command was devastated by a Mage, he lost his town, and now his last hopes for the future had been stolen by a group of raiders. The only thing that had never failed him was his sharp mind and philosophy. He would cultivate...no matter what it cost him.

A lifetime of failure can dull and dampen a soul. A reason to live, a goal, can change that in an instant. It is always darkest just before the dawn.

A fantastic series of books.

an excellent series of books and a fantastic clogging with all three in one. I would definitely recommend these to my friends the main character of Arthurian was just lovable and clever you could not do anything but love the way he was written.

Cultivate your way out of this if you dare

Artorian's Archives: Axiom, Alumni, & Annex by Dennis Vanderkerken & @DakotaKrout. The protagonist is a foolish old man... if you believe what others say. However, even an old man can be a hero capable of great feats of cultivation. Touching yet rewarding. 📚4/5🌟 #BookReview

I'm on the fence.

I was given a free copy of this book and I'm leaving an honest and voluntary review.

So it's a little slow in places, but it definitely has a vast amount of detail. it's different from what I'm used to. but it was overall enjoyable. plus it's a trilogy for the price of 1.
It's very well written and thought out well, good story, good characters mostly. and great world building.
The narration is spot on, giving a nice ambiance to the story.

somewhat underwhelming

Not terrible. narration is decent and story is ok, but nothing special. as a 3 book pack for 1 credit, it it somewhat worth, but it isn't anything particularly special.

The fantastically dull ramblings of an old man

"My god make something happen!" was all I had to say at about 6 hours into the book, Travis Baldree as always is fantastic but good grief this book is dull.

Boring

6 hours into the book and the still same ongoing pseudophilosphical drivel spouted by the MC with nothing really happening in the story
