Touching stories of bravery

This book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in learning more about the heroes of WW2. The book tells the stories and braveries of 28 unsung heroes, describing their background, their heroic acts, the aftermath of the act, and their lasting legacy. Some of the heroes, like Virginia Hall, were known to me, but most of them were unknown to me. Either way, their braveries are all extraordinary and range from involvement at Pearl Harbour, the Battle of Bulge, the army nurse corps, the Normandy invasion, spy activities, freedom fighters, photographer and war correspondent, and other involvement in the navy, airforce, or army - highly recommended if you are interested in getting to know some of the stories of the heroes of WW2.
