Welcome to How I Cooked Today. I am Marquita Moore. Spend some time with me as I share how I’m feeding my body - sharing the recipes I love to cook, recipes I grew up on, and recipes I want to challenge myself to make (sometimes I nail these challenges, and sometimes… I don't) and how I'm feeding my soul - how I nurture my relationship with myself, others, and my spiritual life; the things I reflect and meditate on as I live life rooted in love and connected to Spirit. There are some parts of the journey that we keep close. We don't share those parts with others, either because they are hard to articulate, or we may think no one will understand. But when we meet someone who speaks what we have held so near, our soul recognizes they too have been walking. The intricate parts of the walk must be shared and talked about so that we encourage the journey to be taken.
