Will a drastic change in Clay’s dungeon be enough to prepare the local Heroes for the next World Threat? Becoming a Dungeon Core was the last thing that Clayburnside Shuntwise had ever thought he would become, but unfortunately, he didn’t really have a choice. The problem will soon become bigger than she can contain, and only by them all working together will everyone survive the dangers represented by the nearby dungeons.

Caught after a record-breaking streak of murders, he was executed by lethal injection by the state, while thousands of his victims' grieving family members watched. That should’ve been the end of his emotionless and unfeeling existence - but it wasn’t.

The previous devastating events inside of Tacca’s dungeon were only the beginning of a wider invasion of the continent of Abenlure. The death of so many Raiders inside of her arena at the hands of the Invaders would normally be a boon to the Fairy-turned-Core and the nearby Nursery Cores, but the attrition of the Raider Delving Clan’s numbers is worrisome. Especially when an unsettling discovery up to the far north will revise everything they know about the Interdimensional Beings that are invading their world.

After the events which caused Cadence to lose consciousness within Uniworld Online, she was now being monitored by the company in charge of the game - Unitech. This surveillance meant that the fledgling Song Maiden had to watch what abilities she used within the game, otherwise she might attract the wrong kind of attention and be accused of cheating or hacking.

Coming back to their own dimension, Milton Frederick and his AI guide, ALANNA, discovered that things were not quite how they left it. After the Station Core and his crew of Proctans acquired a derelict space station, fixed it up to include a makeshift dungeon, and then stopped the Heliothropes from invading and conquering an entirely new dimension, they managed to survive and return to Milton’s home dimension victorious.

The Station Core known as Milton has barely survived the first concentrated attack by hostile Proctans, leaving his "dungeon" destroyed and most of his defenders dead. Not the most auspicious start. But now, with the addition of Brint and his inventor friend, Whisp, Milton now has the tools available to turn his dungeon into one that should easily defend against all comers - or at least he hopes so. However, when the Cordpower Company contract the best of the best to find out what happened to their agents, Milton’s dungeon is put to the test.

Being in charge of her own dungeon instead of just being an Assistant to a Dungeon Core was a unique experience for Tacca GloomLily, especially after her “bad luck” resulted in her soul being sucked into a Core. Thankfully, she persevered through the strange experience and created a dungeon that she knew Raiders would say was suitable for “beginners”, otherwise known as brand-new Raider Clan recruits.

After narrowly surviving an invasion of her dungeon by some seriously dangerous Elves, Sandra needs to recover from having all of her defending constructs destroyed in the process. With the bulk of her forces lost while shattering the Core of a Reptile Classification dungeon, the merchant-turned-Dungeon Core is feeling a little vulnerable.
