As if the creepy cyborg and the mechanically-enhanced human crew weren't bad enough, what was supposed to be a simple flight home to Earth was going horribly wrong. A deadly plot was unfolding. One that could jeopardize the entire human race. And Daisy found herself stuck in the middle.

Ingersoll Lockwood invented the fictional character Baron Trump in 1890 for a two-part sci-fi/fantasy series about a privileged boy who undertakes a sequence of fantastic voyages. The style of the Baron Trump series - a mix of fantasy and young-listener-oriented science fiction - anticipated and may have influenced L. Frank Baum's Oz series. The second in that series, Baron Trump's Marvellous Underground Journey, describes Baron's trip to the Earth's interior via an opening in the Russian Arctic.

The story follows young Baron Trump, who, along with his dog Bulgar, discovers a hidden portal within the family castle, leading to a subterranean world known as the "World within a World." The narrative unfolds as Baron encounters peculiar characters, engages in extraordinary adventures, and unravels mysteries in this fantastical realm.

Her moment of triumph was finally at hand. Or at least that’s what Daisy thought before everything flipped on its axis and went to straight to hell.
