• Understanding Medications for Depression and Anxiety
    Apr 23 2023

A short podcast that explores the world of medications for depression and anxiety. Drawing on personal experiences and professional guidance, I hope this offers an insight into the different types of medications available, the benefits and side effects of each, and strategies for managing any potential stigma or concerns.

In addition to discussing the benefits of medication, I also address common concerns and misconceptions, such as fears about side effects, stigma, and the possibility of self-medicating. I emphasise the importance of working with a mental health provider to determine the right medication and dosage for your individual needs, as well as the value of combining medication with other forms of treatment, such as therapy and self-care.

This Podcast does not focus on going through each individual medication for anxiety and depression, instead, it looks at medications more broadly, introducing various scenarios and then providing guidance and support.

I hope you enjoy this podcast - Thank you
