The Axeman murders took place in New Orleans, Louisiana beginning in the year 1918 and would span a total of 18 months. Some believe the Axeman was just a deranged and savage serial killer who was clever enough to never get caught, while others believe the axeman of New Orleans was a demonic entity that took the form of a human to claim its victims.
