This experience opened her eyes to the widespread need for basic clothing and essentials among families. It was then that Boxes of Basics, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was born. Since its inception, over 5,000 children have been helped through the efforts of Sarah and the dedicated volunteers, employees, and donors who support the organization.
