  • Episode 13 - Dr. Matthew Kenworthy and Alexander Bohn
    Oct 4 2020

This past July, the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope took the first ever image of a young, Sun-like star accompanied by two giant exoplanets. Until now, astronomers had never directly observed more than one planet orbiting a Sun like star. But what's so special about this, how was it accomplished, and does it reveal anything about our own Sun? Dr. Matthew Kenworthy and Alexander Bohn of Leiden Observatory tell us all about it.

    Aug 27 2020

The 1980s was the decade of extreme fashion, punk rock and the first personal computers, and the dawn of a new era in spaceflight with the introduction of the first ever dedicated reusable space craft, the Space Shuttle.

1978 saw the first class of astronauts to be selected by NASA since Apollo, but what were those experiences like through the eyes of the astronaut's families?

Patrick Mullane, author of "The Father, Son, and Holy Shuttle", the executive Director of the Harvard Business School Online, and the son of retired Shuttle astronaut and Mike Mullane is here to tells us all about it.
