The second chakra, Svadhisthana, is also known as the creativity and sexual chakra. It is located above the pubic bone and below the navel, and encompasses the genital region and the hypogastric plexus. The word svadhisthana can be translated as “the dwelling place of the self,” and the element of the second chakra is water, which equals cohesiveness.

Tune in on Friday for the guided soundbath and led meditation.

  • BONUS! PEACE & LIBERATION | Yoga Nidra & Soundbath
    Jun 14 2024

DONATE NOW. This recording was taken from our live online charity event. A gentle suggestion to donate what you can to ojne of the suggested charities.

I have been feeling at a loss, to know what to say, how to say it and what to do. If you feel the same, about the state of the world and our 'world leaders'. Know that you are not alone. It feels futile, really to be offering wellness events when such trauma and grief is wrapped around this fragile world we are in.

So, this meditation was designed specifically to help you check in, rest deeply, clear space, and create a profound connection to the heart.

Taking the power back and spreading that energy out, bringing you bravery, energy and courage forwards, into the world.

  • CLEANSING APRIL | Meditation
    Apr 18 2024

Life begins, it bears fruit, it matures and it dies. Like the seasons each segment of life has its own beauty and its own challenges. The beauty of spring is first glimpsed when it begins to resurrects itself from the icy grip of winter and bring forth a renewed sense of life waiting to bloom. Spring thanks the rain by springing forth a bountiful bouquet of flowers. The rain replenishes life and cleanses the air. It’s the newness the rain brings that makes us love rain.

Rain is often symbolized as dark and dreary. We are reminded that after the rain comes the sunshine. All we need is to wait and this “too will pass.” But rain is also a gift. It reminds me of the Chinese proverb; the traveler hopes for sunshine — the farmer hopes for rain. One person’s darkness can be another person’s sunlight. It is all a matter of your perspective.

  • SEA & SOUND | Soundbath
    Apr 5 2024

Find a moment to follow Josephine through a soundbath, using found sound of the Sussex coast and perfect third tuning forks.

Ocean sounds are soft noises with a low frequency and a rhythmic nature. They tell our brains that we are safe. Loud, sudden noises put us on alert, but natural water sounds activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps us relax and unwind.

  • SPRING EQUINOX | OSTARA AND FULL MOON MUSINGS
    Mar 12 2024

There's been quite a lot to think about this month, you may be feeling a little over the shop. Deep diving into emotions for the new moon, then unfurling into the warmth of the sun and Spring. Looking truthfully at your dreams of the seeds you planted over winter. And the push for transformation around the Full Crow Moon.

In my latest podcast episode, I dive into these themes in more detail and offer you a short and joyful Spring meditation to help you focus your attention and energy.

Some things to ponder and journal on:

+ Emerging & slowly pushing forward: Are you feeling the stirring of Spring, the lock that winter might have around you starting to ease and space to call in for Spring. Push forward slowly, with grace and compassion. It's not a race.

+ Hope & new energy: You might be feeling hopeful, your dreams becoming mroe present or focused, keep on journalling and find aims and things to hold on to keep you focused.

+ Calling in your truth & Get honest with yourself: It's been a challenging month in some ways, my truth bubbling up to the surface, my winter was rather challening, in these moments of 'oh that's what's been happening' it can feel hard. Finding our truth can come with relief, but also grief and fear. Go gently.

+ Grief and difficult feelings around transitions and change: Change can feel hard for many of us, especially HSPs. Don't feel like you have to completely shed winter, maybe hold onto some of your favourite practices, like reading quietly, hot tea, or long baths, maybe just change these up to fit the season.

+ Perfect balance, Symmetry and purpose: Equinox is the perfect balance of light and dark, journal on where you can bring mroe balance into your life, physically, or spirtually. What would you like more of and what could you have less of?

+ Feeling the sun on your face: Enjoy the tiny mindful moments of the changing season, grab the moments of the sun and birds, and lean into the warmth.

+ Awakening & Rebirth: keep on dreaming, what can you let go of and release from winter. coming out of hibernation to greet the new. Do not cling, let things flow.

+ Clearing out, connecting with your community: Tidy your home, clean your car, scrub your face. Call friends, join a club, and create meaningful moments of connection.

    FULL MOON IN LIBRA.

The crows cawing to signify the end of Winter, it is time to welcome the new!

The full moon on March 25, 2024, As we bid farewell to the cold and dark winter days, it's time to embrace the new beginnings and opportunities that spring brings. This is the perfect time to let go of any restraints that have been holding you back and take a leap of faith towards your dreams.

Similar to what I've already posted, but focus on:

    • Relationships, calling in harmony and fixing what isn't sitting right.
    • Get organised if things are feeling chaotic, sort things out or ask for help.
    • Dream big and take a deep breath.

  • FULL MOON IN VIRGO | MEDITATION & SOUND
    Feb 21 2024

This recording is purely voice, Josephine has created a deeply healing vocal tracks to encourage cleaning and self-empowerment. The meditation will help you rest deeply and trust your path.

    Why? Full Moon In Virgo.

A full moon in Virgo is only possible when the sun is in Pisces.

Think of Virgo as yourself on one of those days where you seem to sort everything, there is flow and ease and your to-do list gets done... There's logic, practicality and a down-to-earth manner.

Pisces, is rather the opposite, emotions deep, love big and minds free and flighty...

A full moon in Virgo invites clarity during the whirlwind that is Pisces season.

Yin & Yang of energy and signs coming together to create magic.

As always I do not claim to be a professional around these teachings, but I love reading and finding out more about the moons and signs, but also applying the teaching practically to rituals, journalling and where to focus our attention. As often everything is linked and the full moons tend to mirror the seasons and times perfectly.

Organisation can have a heavy weight to it, but also an opportunity to sort your s**t out. It takes energy, focus and attention, but when we get clear, there is a profound peace that can be found.

So, what needs organising, does your organising need organising?!
