Giant plothole in this one

Somehow the MC forgot that he have an alchemical pill that can rewive someone that died in the last hour, this leads to him acting all dejected and hopeless when he arrives to late to save Dire (the girl who summons monsters and summed to be hinted as an LI) minutes after the Lukt family killed her in an ritual.
Otherwise its a good continuation of the series and a better than usual cultivation story.
