About this listen
‘If you like your conspiracies twisty, your action bone-jarring, and your heroes impossibly dashing, then look no farther’ MARK DAWSON
This time it’s personal…
People going missing in the remote wilds of India is not unusual. But when the son of a wealthy Delhi businessman is kidnapped just weeks after his brother fell victim to an alleged bandit attack in the mountains of Haryana, it raises eyebrows.
With the local police doing close to nothing, there’s only one man for the job: ex-SAS major Ben Hope. But for Ben, this is no ordinary rescue case. Because this plea for help is coming from a special person from his past, who now has nobody else to turn to.
Ben’s mission will take him into the heart of the arid Indian wilderness, pitting him against ruthless gangs and desperate men. But Ben is determined to save the day. Whatever it takes.
The Ben Hope series is a must-read for fans of Dan Brown, Lee Child and Mark Dawson. Join the millions of readers who get breathless with anticipation when the countdown to a new Ben Hope thriller begins…
Whilst the Ben Hope thrillers can be read in any order, this is the nineteenth book in the series.

Best one from the kidnapping of his son & Brook
Far superior story compared to the last one he wrote Rebels Revenge it was basic.

Another great Ben Hope adventure...
Ben gets drawn into a search for a couple of people missing in the wilderness of India. This time it's someone significant from his past that's involved.
A very good, well woven plot, with the usual action and adventure you'd expect Ben Hope to be involved in. A particular part best the end of the book resulted in me shouting out 'No Ben, don't do it!!', but I don't think that particular plot line is over yet..
Looking forward to the next Instalment...
Well narrated by Colin Mace once again..

Oh Ben!
It’s not you it’s me! Much as I love the trio of Mariani, Mace and Hope, I need a break! One of the trivial things I was really tiring of is “... didn’t know it yet”! Which is generally quite early in the story, that didn’t happen and I thought that was promising then you ruined it and said it later! Cue eye roll (they hurt you know!).
This took me four days to complete! I’m sure I’ll be back but not for a while. Maybe then I’ll appreciate you all more and give Ben the opportunity to become bruise free!

Colin Mace - one of the best narrators on audible!
Good original story, well told suspense to the end, unfortunately sometimes you just have to stop what your doing and listen.

Ben hope the survivor
Read all the Ben hope books but this was my first audible version. So easy to listen too. The last 11 hours have disappeared in no time. Just kept finding a reason to walk the dog so I could catch up with the adventure.
I need more Ben hope!!

A well rounded view of India, fab story
Draws. An excellent view of Delhi & at particularly sharp sketch of the arid mountains.
The story was interesting too, showing Ben in a favourable light, especially against the backdrop of the Delhi Police force! Perhaps if tiny bit improbable?
No spoiler alert just that I found the e ding sad.
