Archer Continues at his Best
I have just finished listening to this book, and as at the end of the first in the series, have been left hanging on the Clifton Cliff! I hope that at this moment, Jeffery Archer is busy penning the third in the series, as I cannot wait to hear what happens next. As usual, Archer weaves many twists and turns and surprises into his novel, with inside knowledge of many scenarios, giving the story a feeling of authenticity, even if the "goodies and baddies" are painted in uncompromising black and white! However, that is the nature of truly entertaining fiction - who wants a constant diet of "kitchen sink" realism? This whole series is proving un-put-downable, and I'm really looking forward to the continuation.

Another Good One
Story kept me interested, narrated well, enjoyed characters. Feel the story moves fast, almosy on a TV level but I do look forward to next one

Amazing
Got hooked on this when there was a free book for the first one.
I now have to buy all of them. The story although not what i would usually go for is awe inspiring.

Brilliant!
Would you consider the audio edition of The Sins of the Father: Clifton Chronicles, Book 2 to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version so can't comment, but I do love being able to listen whilst driving to and from work and whilst doing the house work, something you can't do with the printed version.
Any additional comments?
If you enjoyed the 1st book of the series this is a must read as it is if you have enjoyed anything by Mr Archer. I'd say this series is his best work yet.

Great Second installment
the second part of the Clifton saga, same great story telling and great character development from Sir Jeffrey Archer. my only criticism was that you were there thinking.. how perfect everything falls into place

An absolute masterpiece
I absolutely loved everything about this book and it’s predecessor! What a beautifully woven and narrated tale. I simply cannot wait to download the next one. Emma is my hero! Strong, determined and beautiful to boot, what more could you ask from one of the lead characters. I would 100% recommend this novel to anyone who asked. Jeffrey Archer you have a new fan!

A worthy sequeal
It took me a while to reacquaint myself with the characters from the first part of these Clifton Chronicles as it's a while since I listened to, Only Time will Tell. I should strongly recommend that you listen to the first part before this one as the story simple continues with no preamble and assumes you know who Maisy and her son, Harry Clifton, are as well as and Emma, Hugo and Giles Barrington, etc., all of whom who figure in this sequel, but their back-story is in book 1. This is not a stand-alone novel. It's a good listen with excellent narrations by Alex Jennings and Emilia Fox. Archer is a very good story teller of old-fashioned, and none the worse for that, tales of honourable characters pitted against dastardly ones with lots of heroics and cliff-hanger moments on the way. Historical events of the Second World War are woven into the story. I enjoyed this book and, as it ends on a cliff-hanger look forward to part three.
The story is worthy of five stars, but I've knocked one off because of the dreadfully loud music at the start of each of the two parts that are an ear-splitting volume and had me tearing my headphones off.
