Good book - as long as you do the exercises
Does what it says. A handbook with useful techniques for developing mental toughness. I suspect the benefit of the book will not be acheived by speed reading, but rather by reading a chapter at a time and spending 30 mins to do the exercises. This may mean that it takes 2 weeks to read, but via this approach you will build a positive daily habit and improve your mental toughness. Job done :)

It’s “ok”
There’s not much to it but there are couple of useful pieces of advice throughout the whole book, so I wouldn’t say it’s bad. I’m not convinced with all the exercises through, I gave up after number 5, maybe if you haven’t ever engaged in any sort of self-reflection before you might get something from them. If you’re a functioning adult then probably not so much, I was actually expecting the author to come back to them later, so I am left especially confused by the 1st exercise as I now have a post-it note with the word EMOTIONALISM in big bold letters stuck to my laptop for all and sundry to see, and I have no idea why.

It’s okay but personally not what I was looking for.
I get how it could work for people but for me I need someone to literally feel like their kicking my ass. I’m sure this book will work and if you do the exercises it’ll work well but the person who is narrating could put me to sleep rather than light a fire up under my ass to be more mentally tough. Maybe that’s the style the author wanted. Calm and focused. Personally for me I found the book “unf*ck yourself” a lot better than this. Again, this might just be how I work. Not to say it didn’t have some good pointers. No harm in trying to see if it suits you and how you are 😊

it works!
Super easy to follow! Liked short chapters and short excercises - very helpful indeed! and it works!!!Not too keen on the robotic narration though

Not suitable for audio.
Not really suitable for audio, it's filled with exercises but no PDF to view them.

Worth listening to!
There is probably nothing in this book that you don’t intuitively know however its strength lies in how the author explains it.
Definitely worth the time, twice in my case, I’d be very surprised if a reader didn’t get at least a couple of valuable points out of it.

Disappointing!
Great to begin with but then seemed to waffle on. I expected to come away "Mentally Tough"!!!
