Bringing all her old characters together in the final story was a nice touch, excellent.

I thought that the choice of material used was spot on, good to hope for more new stories.

An enjoyable easy listening group of short stories

Enjoyed the short stories as I found I could listen with ease the whole story. Loved the stories around Ruth and Nelson.
The stories are easy to listen to, very enjoyable, and well narrated. I hope we can have more of these short stories.

Enjoyable well read nostalgic

Reading recognising Galloway characters from series and missing sections of their lives; some sentimentality inevitable

Marvellous

I love Elly Griffith’s books anyway, especially Ruth and Nelson. This wonderful collection of stories was sublime. Just the right length, and some of her well known characters too, as well as stand alone tales. I did not want it to end. Masterful writing. I really hope we have not heard the last of Ruth Galloway though
