Exciting, original story & excellent narration
I really enjoyed this book & do hope there will be sequels. I found the originality of the story & the multiple twists & turns kept me enthralled. Joe Jameson's narration was perfect, as usual. It's a while since I have heard him narrating & I had forgotten just how good he is.

An absolute blast!
Extremely enjoyable and roustabout book, full of adventure, humour, intrigue and wonderful characters. Excellent world-building. The narrator, Joe Jameson is very accomplished and enhances the story. Can’t wait for the next one!

Lots of fun
This was a fun book, I loved the characters and can't wait to find out what happens next. The narrator is really good, has distinct voices for each character which really helps you keep track of the action. It's not for the faint hearted as there is lots of swearing, guts and gore (probably why I liked it!) Heartily recommended.

Unexpected gem
Fantasy, swords & sorcery. Not the type of thing I’d usually go for, but thought I’d try something different. Great book to listen to on the go,as you don’t need to concentrate to keep up with the storyline. The author absolutely makes it for me. He really does help you create the visuals of the characters and story.

This was a fantastic fun book with fab characters and I loved the plot and pace. The narrator was excellent, I can't wait for the next one in the series. I am going to check out all the other books by the author 😁😁

Great Narrator and Story!
Story was excellent and the different magic abilities were so good, but the narrator definitely brought everything to life. Will be looking out for him more in the future. Looking forward to book 2 whenever it’ll be announced!

Malevolent Seven is Magnificent!
I haven’t read a fantasy novel in a lot of years, yet I was drawn to this one by its premise. Granted, there’s a lot of it which could be described as formulaic but it was much more than the sum of its parts. I enjoyed everything about it. It all worked, all the time and I was smitten by the characters, the plot lines, the humour and the pathos. Loved it. Won’t be my last book by this author. And a great performance by the reader!
