A great book to start an intermittent fasting lifestyle

Purchased this book for my girlfriend. She has tried so many diets and fads and has never been successful. She wanted to try intermittent fasting, so I researched on Amazon and this book focused on women in general, so I got the audio book version for her. She loved this book and has already lost nearly 24 pounds. The book is structured really well and explains what fasting is, the history behind it and much more. She would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try fasting for the first time. Plus great additional info for people who have already started fasting.

Change your health sustainably

As a woman who has tried on a number of occasions to lose weight, I have found many weight loss programs to be unsustainable. I feel like IF is not like them because you can fast for a long time as long as you do it well and mindfully. This book taught me how to go about it. I especially enjoyed the fact that its written for women and so it deals with our particular challenges like those pesky hormones. Thank you for this book.

Great book - interesting concept

Intermittent fasting is a concept that I only heard about not too long ago. It is something I will have to try. The author explains in detail all that entails this alternative to lose weight or maintain your weight. I recommend this audiobook.

If you're looking to lose weight in a sustainable way and improve your health, this book is for you.

brilliant audio!

I have been trying to wokr out intermitting fasting since the beginning of the year, and this audio was brilliant. Its a road map guide to helping you get an understanding of the benefits and how to action and follow through. It even had recipes included with it. Highly recommend!

Great Book.

I am new to the concept of intermittent fasting, so I purchased this book to assist me in overcoming the mental barrier that I have had for many years, which is that missing meals is detrimental to our health. Consume three meals every day and a snack in between to optimise your metabolism, as has been recommended by the medical community and the mainstream media. Why are there so many individuals who are overweight and suffering from chronic illnesses? The natural world did not intend for humans to consume food continuously. This audiobook provides a wonderful explanation of why fasting is helpful, as well as how to start on the path to recovery, weight reduction, and a healthy lifestyle by implementing it into your daily routine. It covers every facet of the practise of fasting in great depth, including when to eat, what to eat, how to exercise, and even offers some delicious recipes. I highly suggest this book to everyone who is new to fasting as well as those who already have some experience in the discipline.

Very detailed book on intermittent fasting!

This book is a great guide for intermittent fasting. I've heard about this method but not as clearly explained on this book. So if you're just following what other people do, then it would be better if you listened to this book first. I just love how the author provides all the information related to this type of fasting. A must have resource for a healthy lifestyle!

Wowa! This book is an incredible resource for a healthy lifestyle... not a diet! I have been hearing a lot buzz about intermittent fasting but wasn't sure what it was really all about. I assumed a diet, but this book opened my mind to the idea on how it is SO much more! Specifically, the mind and body balance. Everything from physical (like the rate at which illness like cancer can grow), to mental (such as stress, anxiety, depression), then hormonal imbalances (I can personally relate to the PCOS example which made getting pregnant very challenging). This book covers it all in depth! Definitions, the science and theory behind it, practical examples and recipes. Comprehensive yet easy to understand and not overwhelming. Very interesting and engaging. Thank you for such a brilliant guide!
