Great book, worth reading.

I must admit to feeling as though I can quess where the story is going, and was a little worried, however Pedro managed to drop some surprises in the plot and change my 'pre guessed assumptions' much to my delight.

I love this story, love the characters apart from Ingrid who just seems childish in her threats, "I will bloody your nose', I will knock your teeth out'. And obviously doesn't do any of that.

Love it

Some stuff is predictable but I love the things that are not and the development of characters and skills.

SS

Painfully unrealistic stupidity from the main character. You will catch things chapters ahead of him and roll your eyes as he panics for an entire chapter.

Main characters friends are often reduced to their tropes. Making the same joke or comment 5+ times in the same conversation.

I hate magic. I don't think that's fair. But he's the king. SHUT UP. 😅
