About this listen
‘Deadly conspiracies, bone-crunching action and a tormented hero with a heart . . . packs a real punch’ Andy McDermott
A TRAGIC DEATH. A GRIEVING BROTHER. A PLOT TO DECEIVE THE ENTIRE WORLD.
Ex-SAS major and kidnap recovery specialist Ben Hope is looking for peace in a quiet Spanish town. What he gets instead is the kind of trouble that only a man like him can handle.
Raul Fuentes can’t accept that his sister, Catalina, took her own life. Ben isn’t convinced, but ghosts from his own past compel him to help Raul discover the truth.
What connects Catalina’s apparent suicide to the suspicious fate of three of her fellow scientists? And why do a gang of professional killers follow Ben and Raul wherever they go?
Ben will soon discover the terrible truth: a fraudulent conspiracy to dupe all of humankind. And those responsible will soon find out they’ve met their match.
The Ben Hope series is a must-read for fans of Dan Brown, Lee Child and Mark Dawson. Join the millions of readers who get breathless with anticipation when the countdown to a new Ben Hope thriller begins…
Whilst the Ben Hope thrillers can be read in any order, this is the twelfth book in the series.

Fast paced, action packed adventure
Ben Hope is drawn into another fast paced, action packed adventure when he meets Raul Fuentes. Raul expresses his doubts about the apparent suicide of his twin sister, Catalina. Ben own suspicions are raised when he and Raul are followed by professional killers. They later discover that three of Catalina’s fellow scientists have met a suspicious fate. What has happened and why?
The only reason I have awarded this Ben Hope book four stars rather than five was that the ending was not as satisfying as it could have been. The book is still a page turner, offering double crosses, twists and turns at every stage, and a gripping read.

Cassandra Sanction...
Ben feels pity for someone he helps in a bar, and offers to help the man in his search for his sister. Everything points to her having taken her own life, but as time goes on that looks increasingly unlikely.
This was another good addition to the Ben Hope Series. I didn't think it flowed in the same way as previous books, but nevertheless it was an entertaining read.
We'll narrated by Colin Mace.

Typically raw but true
Typical of the rich not wanting to enlighten the world of the problems that will happen one day so rude but that’s the rich for u
