Summary
Griffins are supposed to be extinct. So when Yukiko and her warrior father are sent to capture one for the Shogun, they fear that their lives are over. Soon Yukiko finds herself stranded: a young woman alone in the wilderness, with only a furious, crippled griffin for company.

Loved it
there are few authors as good as Jay Kristoff
he is a genius
for me this book took a while to gain my interest but after a few hours I was hooked and finished it with a week
