Interesting and unusual

It took a little while to settle into the narrators voice but once I had I loved it. Irreverent humour threads through - sometimes a little too many ideas jumbled together but overall a compelling story made up of many tales - a real pleasure to listen and perfect for Halloween or Christmas. By the end of the book I was completely won over by the telling - Aoife is a very skilled storyteller.

I read and listen to so many books that it’s very rare even with the best of them that I can’t see some plot line coming or a character’s actions . But this not only kept me riveted but at no point did I see the path the book was taking me . So Beautifully narrated . I’m sad to have it come to a end .
