About this listen
Blind from a young age, a Regency heroine risks her overbearing father’s displeasure by attending a house party, never dreaming she’ll meet a formidable lord who will discover all her secrets and still want her for his own.
Dominated by her father’s rigid ways since a twist of fate stole her sight, Isabella uses the magic of Christmas to steal away for an adventure of her own when invited to join friends for the holidays. Oh, how she adores Christmastime!
How he abhors Christmastime! Lord Frostwood lives up to his name, freezing out everyone since a childhood tragedy hardened his heart. Everyone, that is, until a spirited wench falls at his feet and proceeds to warm his cold existence, thanks to some strategically placed mistletoe and their resulting Christmas kisses.

I just loved it!
This is the most heart warming story I have read and perfect for Christmas.
A blind but spritely Isabelle who has been living a very sheltered life since her blindness attends a house party where she meets a very grumpy Earl of Frostwood, aptly named!
From their first meeting, it is clear to see that there is chemistry between the two main characters and it is delightful to watch where their story goes.
The narration is excellent and I will definitely be looking at more books by this author.
A high five for this wonderful book. I just wish it was longer and I could bathe in its warmth!

Love at Christmas
Enjoyable novella about a blind girl finding love with a grouchy lord over Christmas.
The narration by Gary Furlong was not bad though I think in this case it may have been improved by being read by a woman.

Too short and tacky
Overly dramatic coming from a blind person who has listened to this book, pieces are a little unbelievable, I’ve picked this book as I am blind myself, I would recommend the book to anyone that wants some mindless listening. I give the book this review because coming from a plain perspective even in historical fiction I find it quite uneducated

Fantastic
Loved the MCs and the open communication between them! FMC is visually impaired and written well imo. Frost was a great hero; i enjoyed his patience and open admiration of Isabella's character❤️

Good.
A good, quite interesting, well written, short book, with the main female character unusually being blind. It was brought to life by the splendid narration.

True Jane Austin
What a wonderful book to find! A true Austin book but with a little spice, not smutty. It was so nice to hear old English as it would have been. So many modern Regency romance books do not even try to Replicate the language for that time period.
As for the story, it was a twist on another I have listened to but because of the language and marvellous narration with the deep cadence of his voice, it made this book far better.
I like this Author very much and will be adding her to the favourite but not before I look for others she may have written. I will say that if I had to pay for it,I wouldn't have but only because of how short it is. I have a rule not to purchase anything under 6 hours,so I do hope that any other of her book meet my criteria.
So,to sum up!......Larisa Lyons AND Gary Furlong are Brilliant 👏 So thanks to Larissa for getting the right narrator for the job and to Gary, excellent job well done. I'm now off to look for both of you on other pieces of work.
