Summary

In a world that’s burning, where it’s every man for himself, all they can do to survive is hold on to each other.

The world has changed. Tan has survived three years in a reintegration camp he was sent to for being gay, but he's at the limit of what he can endure, even with the help of his best friend Austin.

When a massive meteor shower creates chaos at the camp, Austin and Tan take the chance to escape. They’re joined by Mack, a newbie at camp, who is an expert in survival but knows nothing about love...or anything else.

But when they discover human-like aliens have landed on Earth with war on their agenda, their escape becomes a hell of a lot more dangerous. They grow close, but without power and food and no safe place to stay, how will they survive?

They find shelter but quickly discover that they can no longer tell who friends are...and who the enemy is. With the world bing-destroyed before their eyes and their lives and that of mankind at stake, where can they find safety, freedom...and love?

While the world around them burns, all they have are each other.

The Ignite Trilogy is a slow burn MMM romance set in a dystopian world and offers a thrilling combination of action, romance, and suspense. Now, for the first time in one box set: all three books plus exclusive, never-before-released bonus chapters and a bonus novella called Pax.

Pleasantly surprised by this series.

I am in general not a huge fan of dystopian/ post apocalyptic romance books. This one was well done and takes you into the story easily. To my surprise I enjoyed this series very much. There is enough worldbuilding and I love the characters Nora created. As always the narration was so well done by mr. Obi. I recommend you give this series a try even if you normally not into this genre of books.

I’m in love with Pax!

As usual Nora’s story just grabs your heart! This takes place in a dystopic world and is about how to survive in a world that is falling apart. She still makes you believe that it is possible to find love during these circumstances, where people fight for food, water and shelter.

And Pax! The alien, refugee, deserter and the kindest you can imagine! Hearing Kenneth creat his voice is just amazing. He had so much fun doing it. He makes all the other characters come to life too! From the sassy but deeply hurt Tan to shy and calm Mack.

Completely and presently surprised

I’ve avoided listening to this series for a while now thinking it wasn’t for me. Having read or listened to pretty all Nora Phoenix’s books and loving them I finally caved and gave this a chance. Starting the books I was sceptical and not at all prepared to be captured by the story from chapter 1. I can only recommend this series! I loved the 3 mc and the relationship they developed throughout the series and the novella about Pax was just perfect. I love Pax!!!

Kenneth Obi is as always a brilliant narrator and only makes the story better!

So if you like Nora’s books do read this one too!

Horrifically terrible, worst book ever

If it wasn’t for the mature content I would suggest it’s written by an illiterate 6 year old

Characters go from mindless killing machine without recourse or question, to emotional wrecks affected by it for one sentence before moving back to needless killing and violence.

There’s no world building, there’s more holes in the story than a sieve

And then the voices are like those crime victim voices you hear on panarama when they alter their voice to protect their identity.

This has to be the worst book I have ever come across in my life, how the hell did it get published?

I just can’t find anything positive to say, it’s just a rock bottom gutter tripe story, written poorly and poorly voiced.

I usually try and finish books regardless but I have up half way through, and it will go into the 0.1% of books I’ll never finish and join some other garbage titles I’ve had the misfortune of reading/listening to

Started off well then fizzled out for me

I loved the first book and so took a chance on the whole series.

I enjoyed the dynamic between the three MCs and was engaged with the overall story in the first book but then it went downhill for me. Some of what was happening after the alien invasion was just so full of holes that the story for me just wasn't credible and there were so many things not right with settling in Australia that I just went on fast forward just to finish the series.

The romance side also became a little too sickly sweet for me.

The only good thing was Kenneth Obi's narration, there was never any doubt who was speaking and I particularly liked his interpretation of Mac.
