About this listen
Do you want a proven way to reduce the negative effects of trauma in just a few minutes? Keep reading.
If you’re suffering from a past traumatic experience, you’ve doubtless been presented with a number of possible treatments. Some of these might help, and others, not so much. And some of these treatments will be more involved and expensive than others.
Surprisingly, one of the best places to start if you’re looking for an alternative route is with guided therapeutic imagery. The practice has been around for centuries and used by ancient cultures like the Tibetan monks and Greeks.
Only recently in the 1970s, health professionals began to endorse this practice as a legitimate way for treating serious conditions. And yet, many people still don’t know what guided imagery is or at the very least don’t know how powerful it can be.
It is scientifically proven that the mind can’t tell the difference between imagined or actual experiences. Guided visualization directs your focus and triggers a new perspective of the past.
Guided therapeutic imagery treats a range of mental issues including anxiety, stress, depression, anger, and overwhelming negative emotions.
In Guided Imagery for Trauma, you'll discover:
- Relaxing and effective experiences, written and delivered by pros
- A guided warmup proven to calm your mind instantly
- Narration and prompts specifically designed to trigger three critical physical responses that deeply relax you and speed up the healing process
- Custom guided imagery exercises to remedy seven different types of trauma
- Convenient visualizations that get results but don't take much time to do
- And much more!
Science and medicine are on the side of guided imagery. But even if you’re still skeptical, what do you have to lose?
If you want to discover your self-healing power, scroll up and listen to this audiobook.

Decent meditations
I felt that the author designed this to help listeners release grief and find peace; feel less isolated; accept their feelings; regain energy and focus and to help the body relax.

Calming
I use or reference this book at least once a week! It is a wonderful compilation of very helpful guided imagery scripts. And I love her audio of guided imagery set with a calming voice narrator. My only wish is that they were shorter.
