Summary

Book 3 in the Forges of Mars series.

Beyond the edges of the galaxy, Archmagos Kotov's great voyage comes to an end. Now, he must ensure the galaxy survives his success...

Listen to it because...

The terrible secret that has haunted the series is revealed, and sheds new light on the Machine Cult's eternal mission to retrieve technology, no matter the cost...

The story:

In the great black void beyond the boundaries of the galaxy itself, Archmagos Kotov's voyage has come to an end. He has found his quarry at last – the resting place of the long-lost Vettius Telok. But Telok yet lives, and as the brave explorators of Kotov's fleet marvel at the wonders laid before them, darker plans unfold. As reality itself is threatened by impossible technologies from the dawn of time, it falls to a small group of heroes to thwart an insane plan that could see the very universe itself annihilated.

narrator really kills the vibe

such a shame the narrator has no clue on the source material. making the Astartes sound like children with light soft voices.

Excellent story

Very well fleshed out, not rushed at all but never drags either. The narrator is good too, certainly versatile with accents

A myriad of mechadendrites

There seems to be a lot of repetition of phrases. The narrater sounds a to young to give gravitas.

epic conclusion to the best admech books to date

This is the epic conclusion to the best admech series to date. Graham McNeil is up there with Dan Abnett and ADB as the best Black Library authors.
