Summary
How to forgive the unforgivable and stop suffering because of what other people have done to you, even when you can’t forget.
Have you ever felt like you have been stuck in a vicious cycle of unresolved pain, hoping that it would just get better with time?
Yet after days, weeks, months, or even years the pain is still there consuming your every thought, emotion, and reaction which is robbing you from time in your life you won’t ever get back again?
In her most vulnerable writing yet, Carolyn reveals her unimaginable journey of not only losing her mother but losing almost everyone she had ever known all at the very same time through a series of painful events that left her breathless, betrayed, and broken. However, even in the most challenging and darkest of days, she discovered how to let go of the pain and resentment gracefully and overcome the resistance to forgive the people not willing to make things right or say “sorry".
In this audiobook you will discover:

- The most life-altering thing you can do to escape the agony of your trauma once and for all
- The single most powerful thing you can do to heal your trauma that no one is talking about
- How your pain can set your up for an even greater life than you imagined
- What you can do today to start smiling again tomorrow
- The secrets behind why you have not been able to speak your truth

Not what it says on the cover
This young author sounds bubbly and is full of character, She is a little over dramatic at times. There is nothing whatsoever on what forgiveness is, why we should forgive and how to approach this complex phenomenon. This book is not for anyone who has experienced relational trauma. It could in fact be detrimental, condoning surrendering everything and have blind faith in everything you want faling at your feet. The all encompassing shame, fear and guilt that are in parallel with traumatic experiences are barely mentioned. The advice for healing is morning meditations and journalling which in themselves are useful but are a short stretch to the uncovering of thoughts and feelings lying in the psyche of the traumatised person. Further advice is to reject anyone causing us negativity. This idea has a narcisstic quality to it as does her story which is all about her and gives minimal help to her audience. I admire her for writing the book and I do like her quirkiness but it lacks the depth and quality suggested in the title.
