I just love this series, it’s one of those you have ration yourself in case you devour it too quickly.

Jamie and his battles continue, learning more about the new and his own powers while continuing his encounters with the Orcs. He ‘makes ‘new friends, but will it be enough for humanity to survive long term?
Narration is clear, with great tone and emotional elements. I decided I am going to look at other books narrated by this narrator because of this book.

best book in the series... so far

This book has a solid plot, an interesting world and sensible side characters. The MC shows great character development from the previous book but I feel as if his skills and abilites are snowballing. Nonetheless, it's a great listen and I will be continuing with the series.

More of the same! MC is geting morse Annoying

The story continues. The storytelling, character and magical power progression stagnates some. A bit of less is more problem like many fantasy books. The MC doesn’t feel like a human and is rather stupid and whiny. The choices he makes is boring and doesn’t follow a gamer at all. Not sure I will continue… maybe if I have nothing else to read.
