About this listen
Manage your anger and have a happier, more peaceful relationship with your kids and others.
Even if you’re usually even-tempered, there are times when your kids know exactly how to push your buttons. You lose your temper, yell at them, and then feel guilty because they’re just kids.
Or even worse, you fly into an uncontrollable rage and go from zero to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit in a nanosecond, then feel embarrassed because you know you completely overreacted.
So do you want to know how to:
- Stop lashing out at your kids without warning and get your kids to listen without having to yell?
- Break vicious cycles of anger built up over generations and avoid raising kids with the same anger issues as you?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you’re not alone.
The trick is to understand where your anger comes from so that you can control it before it controls you.
In this guide, here is just a fraction of what you will discover:
- Why do you often explode so quickly or snap over something trivial for no reason?
- The three-step quick-release action that Taoists have used for 2000 years to get you past explosive anger when the blood rushes to your head.
- How you can stop being a hurricane mom so that you don’t cause long-term psychological damage to your kids and affect their personalities.
- How to encourage your kids to own their feelings and not suppress their emotions, and teach them self-regulation over “tantrum storms”.
And more!
Whether your anger is sparked by your childhood trauma or your kids not listening to you, you can overcome it by changing how you think and reacting to triggers.
If you want to stop flying into a rage and get on a healthy relationship footing with your kids, then you should listen to this audiobook!

Game-Changer for Parents
As a parent, there are countless joys that come with raising children. However, it's no secret that parenting can also be an emotionally challenging journey, especially when dealing with anger and frustration. Sasha Woodley's book, "Diffusing Anger: Anger Management for Parents," is an absolute game-changer, offering a wealth of valuable insights and practical strategies to help parents navigate the complex emotions that often arise in the parenting process.
In this masterfully written book, Woodley delves into the heart of the matter, acknowledging that anger is a natural emotion that all parents experience at some point. Instead of simply preaching the merits of suppressing anger, she focuses on equipping parents with the tools they need to understand, manage, and diffuse their anger effectively.
One of the book's most commendable aspects is Woodley's ability to create a warm and supportive tone. Right from the outset, readers are made to feel understood and not alone in their struggles. Her compassionate approach lets parents know that it's okay to have these emotions but emphasizes the importance of channeling them constructively. I really enjoyed the listen & think you will too.

Stop The Anger Rollercoaster
As a parent who struggled with anger issues myself, I related to the vicious cycles described. The quick 3-step method to interrupt explosive anger stood out as practical advice to try. I appreciated the insights into how parenting with anger can psychologically damage kids. While inner change is hard work, the author gives hope it's possible. If you feel anger threatening your family's happiness, this audiobook offers understanding of triggers and tools to choose peace instead. Highly recommend for breaking generational anger and creating a happier home.

Highly recommend
This audiobook is an excellent resource for all new or seasoned parents. The book allows the listener to think about how we handle certain situations and why we may have reacted the way we did, and brings forth the fact that how we react can have a significant impact on children and our health. The author provides a wide variety of exercises to implement while keeping everything practical without being excessively time-consuming. I appreciate that the book was in plain English and got to the heart of the matter, or anger in this case.

Angry parents is not right
When you have new born, supposed to be joy. You have a child supposed to be joy. You have teenager, supposed to be joy. But angry parent seems to be not a child problem, it's parent problem. Yes, it's massive. We are adults carrying the genetic memory from our parents, grandparents, etc. That what is recorded in our subconscious mind, situations, feelings and emotions. If we want to nurture our beautiful children to be their best, we have to start from ourselves. Number one is to recognized that is our problem. Secondly we have to work on ourselves to change it. This is not small job. However if we want to create better World, we have to become better, just then we can pass on to our children. The author of this book did a great job to help parents to raise consciousness and awareness where to start and where to go. Massive topic, we can't ignore it. Families are suffering today like never before. World of economics driving force, making people go bananas, go crazy. Can you imagine if you would live in the World of nature, where money is not driving force. You meditating, doing yoga classes, competition is not your game. You would be most peaceful human being. But we want maximum comfort and convenience, and that's cost the price. The price today is anger, frustration, stress, negative emotions, screaming, shouting, everything is coming to the surface. I think is the time to go from compulsive reaction to conscious consciousness. Most of the time is not our children problem, it's ours.
We have to be fully responsible for our actions and emotions.
Great book, highly recommended
