Summary

One chapter closes and another starts
This series has gone at two paces, fast and entertaining and slow, introspective and dull. This instalment was odd because it coming to a conclusion of sorts concerning the immediate future of Earth. This part of the book the author seemed to want to get out of the way as though they were bored with that bit now so just go slap, bang, wallop, we're done. Right let's move on to something new.
I don't mind the fact they wrapped up this segment of the story but it was so unartfully shoe-horned in almost like an after thought that you couldn't fail but think 'is that it then?' However once you got passed that the opening of a new chapter so to speak was welcome as he did drag the story painfully out barring the ending which I just addressed. This book might give the series the momentum it needed as I was sorely tempted to drop it. When a series becomes a chore and your not arsed who lives or dies it's time to find a new one. We are not there yet with this series but you're only one bad book away from losing half your readership.

One of the best so far
This was excellent, lots happens and we are getting more insight into the wider world created. I liked the moments of humour too. There are some nice twists and surprises as well.
If you enjoyed the previous audio books you will enjoy this one. I liked the pace of this book it was faster than the previous one.
The narrator does a fantastic job.
I eagerly anticipate the next book

Great fantasy, detailed and multifaceted world
I love all the different sides of the story and the attention to detail. Can't wait how every piece will fit together.
Hours of great material but maybe not for the most impatient listeners.
Love epics? Yes, this is for you
Detailed vast world and story? Definitely for you

Another great addition
A series that continues to hook me. Lets be honest you are unlikely to read this if you haven't read the first 6 books and if you were happy with them, then you'll enjoy this

This series continues to be...
... an uninterrupted power trip. While greatly enjoyable, it is neither great prose, nor is there any real feeling of conflict. The protagonist wings close to every encounter and anything going wrong ends up being beneficial in the long run.
It's like having infinite luck that never runs out and struggling for the sole reason of never-ending growth. Story and continuity wise this feels very unnatural and hampers the flow of narration. All that being said it's still great fun to listen to and superbly narrated.

On Tenderhooks
Zac's time to face the trials in the Hidden Realm is here and with so much at stake this is bigger and badder than before in the series.
These audio's are fairly long but the narration is very good from Pavi and very easy to get caught up in.
This one ends up with quite a surprise, so im on tenderhooks waiting on the next one but very happy with how the progress has went.
