Priyabhishek Sharma’s book ‘The Himalayan Master and the Sixth Sense’ won wide critical acclaim in the timeless genre of spiritual memoirs on Yoga, meditation and the Himalayan Masters. This book stands translated in three languages: Hindi, Marathi and Kannada. His fifth book, a debut novel, ‘Trance: Secret Herb from Kamakhya’ explores the themes of love and the supernatural tenets of the hill life. Born and brought up in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh; Priyabhishek Sharma is an Assistant Professor in a government college. He has earned doctorate from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The degrees and the designations and the epithets aside, he defines his true identity as that of a Yogi. A Naga saint initiated him into meditation with a beej mantra in 2003. Soon, some inexplicable dimensions opened up, leaving him perplexed and clueless. Continuing with the practice, he, then came in contact with a Kamakhya based saint. Thus led by the Mother Nature, he finally reached his Guru in 2018, a Siddha from the Himalayas, who imparted Shaktipat on him lifting up his consciousness into higher dimensions of kundalini, Nada, Samadhi and Silence. He is currently writing a sequel to ‘The Himalayan Master and the Sixth Sense’ capturing his saga of Kundalini. Also a ceaseless traveller, he had visited all the main shrines, caves, abodes of the mystics, like Mahavatar Babaji Cave, Amarnath Cave, Shiv Khori Cave, Haida Khan Baba Cave, Vashishta Cave, Arundahti Cave, Mauni Baba’s Cave, Kainchi Temple of Baba Neeb Karori, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Maharishi Aurobindo Ashram Puducherry, Isha Foundation of Sadguru, Raman Maharishi Ashram Tiruvannamalai and so on. He sees these errands as a manifestation of Lord Shiva’s grace.
