David was born in 1988 in Wolverhampton, England. He spent most of his youth growing up in nearby Telford, where he attended the prestigious Thomas Telford School. However, unsure of which direction he wished his life to go in, he left higher education during sixth form, in order to get a job and pay his way. He has spent most of his life since, working in retail. In 2007, following the death of his grandfather William Henry Griffiths a couple of years earlier, David's family relocated to the North Devon coastal town of Ilfracombe, where he got a job in local greengrocers, Normans Fruit & Veg as a general assistant, and spent 8 happy years there. In 2014, David met Charlotte, and in 2016, relocated to Plymouth to live with her as she continued her University studies. In 2018, the pair were married, and now reside in Dorset with their daughter Molly.. The first published works of David's, was the Dark Corner. It was a compilation of short haunting stories which he wrote to help him escape the reality of the Coronavirus pandemic in early-mid 2020. However, it was not until January 2021, that he made the decision to publish. From there, the Dark Corner Series evolved and is due to conclude in 2025 with the release of the 12th and 13th books in the series, The Darkest Corner and Wealdstone : Awakening. David's first novel outside of the Dark Corner Series was released in December 2023. 'Horizon' is the first in a quartet of sci-fi horror novels, with the fourth and final book, Vengeance, due for release late Summer 2025. He has also written a short horror story series, Little Nightmares, with each volume containing three short stories. The third and final book in the series is released in November 2024, followed by a British Horror novel entitled Ingledene.
