About this listen

Things are not well within the Lodrak Empire. An entire city goes up in smoke and ash, and an entire province is slowly being consumed by an ever-expanding cloud of death.

But while the humans rally to contain the fallout of this disaster, they are much quicker to pin the blame for it on their elven neighbors to the north. With centuries' worth of strife and bad blood between the two nations flaring up, all out war is rapidly becoming an inevitability.

Powerful figures are already on the move. Some wish to unravel the mystery behind the dead city in order to bring the perpetrators to justice. Others are more than content enough to use this "act of terrorism" as an excuse to further the Empire's agenda. A select few are even planning on somehow turning this cataclysm into a weapon for the sake of their ambitions. The elves of the Ishigar Republic are hard at work undermining and sabotaging their old enemy, while the international community watches the ongoing situation with a critical eye. Even the Gods themselves are closely monitoring the situation, ready to intervene should they deem it necessary.

However, though all these entities have different reasons and methods, they all have the same objective - to find the mastermind responsible for setting all this in motion.

The same "mastermind" that is far too busy figuring out how wagons work to notice the world is stirring.

A brilliant break from the cliché of so many books

This series is brilliant and unique. I can't wait to start the next book 😉

Very Tasty!

after I discovered volume 1 and finished it several times I couldn't help but search and hope that I could have volume 2 soon. I only had to wait about a month and I'm so glad. as soon as I found it available on audible I bought it straight away and I wasn't disappointed.

picking up straight after the events of volume 1 it delves even further into that wonderful "what the fuckery" I love with this series.
and now I find myself wondering just how long till I can get my third dose of this wonderfully fucked up series. until then I best reread this and volume 1 again :D

very tasty! want more!

Great sequel

I have literally blitzed through both of Neven's awesome audiobooks and am left with an insatiable need for more.

What a fantastic conclusion to the second part of the Everybody Loves Large Chests stories. Boxxy T Morningwood is the most hillarious, accidentally funny character I have ever seen and probably the most bad ass.

Don't stop writing Neven, you've created the beginnings of a gem.

more fun boxxy adventures

boxxy antics continue, but I found the masochistic abuse unnecessary and further amplified in this volume to levels I find uncomfortable. thanks to events though, there is at least a reprieve, even temporarily. and it was probably a good thing as the trio were becoming a tad op too quickly

Unpredictably, Double Sixes Rolled...

As a longtime R&D player and reader of Disc History's.

I Recommend This Tome Worthy.

Supremely entertaining

The first act is quite weak and focuses a bit too much on the ‘interests’ of the demons, but once the party enters Auerosa (guessing the spelling) the story really picks up and the end is fantastic.

Thoroughly enjoying this series

I love large chests

It’s weird, explicit and warped but I love it. It’s nothing I’ve ever heard before.

Book two of an excellent series. Racey characters. Love it or hate it. I loved it .
