Summary
Two hot guys. One desert island.
Even if it means quitting their boy band mid-tour, Troy Tanner isn't going to watch his little brother snort his future away after addiction destroyed their father. On a private jet taking him home from Australia, he and pilot Brian Sinclair soar above the vast South Pacific. Brian lost his passion for flying - and joy in life - after a traumatic crash, but now he and Troy must fight to survive when a cyclone strikes without warning.
Marooned a thousand miles from civilization, the turquoise water and white sand beach look like paradise. But although they can fish and make fire, the smallest infection or bacteria could be deadly. When the days turn into weeks with no sign of rescue, Troy and Brian grow closer - and friendship deepens into desire.
As they learn sexuality is about more than straight or gay and discover their true selves, the world they've built together is thrown into chaos. If Troy and Brian make it off the island, can their love endure?
Contains mature themes.

Absolutely beautiful story, but felt like something was missing.
The writing was great. The characters felt real and deep, the chemistry between them was palpable. I can't stress enough how much I like the two main characters, their love slowly blossoming was great to read.
I'm not giving it 5 stars because the book is too one sided for what I had hoped. You only hear about the POV of the two main characters on the island. Troy is (incredibly) famous, there was a great opportunity to show how the world reacted to the news of his accident / dissapearance. I would have loved to hear more about his family and band-mates too. A bit of a shame this wasn't explored more. However, the book itself was still an amazing and easy listen.
I still very much recommend it.

Sweet, hot and well written
Casual story with a simple yet effective idea. Not a story with huge depth. But still a lot of good points about love and sexuality. Heart warming with a good balance between descriptions and dialogue as well as story and mature content. As usual the narrator did a wonderful job. Feel good romance in it's better form.

Enjoyable, in a light easy read way
I enjoyed listening to this. It was a lighter read that didn’t grab me and immerse me in the read as much as some, but enjoyable all the same.
As far as being marooned on a desert island romance book goes, found it better than On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves, which other people seem to love more than me. But it’s not as good as Surviving Raine by Shay Savage which I really enjoyed and has a lot more grit. Both those books are m/f, and I’ve not listened or heard about any other m/m books with this plot.
In this book, both characters fall into the gay for you category, but it’s a gradual thing.

Worth the wait
I loved this book when I first read it, and have reread it more than once. So I was delighted when I realised there was going to be an audio version. Greg did a fabulous job with the narration - I even got choked up a couple of times, which is a great indication of the quality. Definitely worth the wait.

Sweet and enjoyable
This is a great story to fill your heart with flutters. The premise is fun and the survival seems real as it isnt all climbing mountains or killing animals. It is all about the slow burn to love and I enjoyed it.

Cute
A nice story well performed. It won't really stick with me, but was good company. The only negative thing was the harping on about being gay, bi or whatever. In what way is this relevant now? Felt more like the 1980s....

nothing happens on a desert island
Nothing happens.
Ok, one thing happens. Both protagonists constantly thinking: 'what is this strange thing I am feeling?'
Haven't heard that before.
