Alles begann mit der Vorstellung meines Kurzfilms "ugat - Another postmigrant story" beim 1. philippinischen Kunst- und Kulturfestival 2022 in Wien. Zuvor sahen wir Jessica Rehrmanns Clip Aswang. Beide Filme behandeln auf ihre eigene Art Fragen nach Herkunft und Identität aus Perspektive der deutsch-philippinischen zweiten Generation. 2023 folgte in Wien mein Workshop "Pinoy ako!", 2024 die DEUTSCHLANDPREMIERE im Neusser Kulturkeller.
