Diggin’ In The Crates is a weekly radio show on Calgary campus station CJSW hosted by Sideshow Sid. Every week, as the clock strikes Midnight on Thursday morn, Sid takes a deep dive into his crates. On any given show you might here the Doo-Wop of the Flamingos followed by an obscure 60’s B-side from Status Quo; the anger of “California Uber Alles” quelled by Aretha’s rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water;” the baffling freneticism of Drum & Bass made, less so, by the 4/4 pulse of House.
