"If a wolf should come out of the forest, then what would you do?" These are the words of Peter's grandfather from Prokofiev's much loved musical fairy tale, Peter and the Wolf, which here is wonderfully narrated by Sir David Attenborough. This story introduces children to the magic of an orchestra through the tale of a clever young boy who, with the help of some animal friends, outwits a very hungry wolf.

Generations of children have been charmed by this enchanting work, and Brilliance Audio is proud to introduce its own version with multi-Grammy Award-winner Jim Dale as narrator. To delight the millions of Jim’s fans, his reading of Peter and the Wolf will include unforgettable vocal characterizations of the various animals, young Peter, and Peter’s grumpy old grandfather. The young boy Peter, together with his friend the bird, manages to catch a hungry wolf who has come to his garden, looking for food and chasing all the animals, including a duck whom he manages to swallow. After the wolf has been caught with a lasso, hunters arrive, intending to shoot him. Instead, Peter proposes to bring him to the zoo, and the hunters, Peter, his grandfather, and the animals form a procession to deliver the wolf.

La historia trata sobre el joven Peter que, junto con su amigo el pájaro, consigue atrapar a un lobo hambriento que ha llegado a su jardón, buscando comida y persiguiendo a todos los animales, incluido un pato que consigue tragar.
