Ever, her men, and a couple of extra friends are finally starting to unlock the truth of the missing students, but a new lead gives them some shocking news that none of them could've predicted and sends Ever into a tailspin.

Of course a supposed vacation couldn't stay that way for Ever and the guys. With the arrival of Atlas and the mysteries that seem to grow the longer they're around him, including how he not only knows the new bartender in town but gives him orders of a questionable nature that are followed without hesitation but with a knowing smile. Throw in snow storms, assholes, and a hot tub and this vacation is turning into a rollercoaster ride.

Between the unusual courses, helping Atlas with his jobs and a dangerous mystery that could put all their lives at stake, they still find time for each other and Evers starting to realize that the guys were holding back, now they've said they're all in there's no stopping them. She loves it, but that's not the only thing they've been holding back on.

Sage is just done - done with the abuse that her mother puts her through daily, done with always being so alone and done with being one of the youngest humans to get an Imprint Tattoo. Only a small percentage of the human population over the age of 18 ever receive one, and they only appear when a soul-changing event happens in that person's life. Sage's first one showed up when she was nine, yay for being weird!

Sage and her men are finally on the way to the academy to unbind her powers, but before she’s even gotten there, things are going wrong. At least it means she makes one hell of an entrance when they finally do arrive. She was expecting a bit of hostility and competition, what she wasn’t expecting was the Order, they pose a much more serious and deadly threat, one that Sage is right at the heart of.
