Following the rules is what allowed me to build a career taking on superheroes in scripted fights. It's what let me to build my own evil organization. Gather a bevy of beautiful supervillainess lovers, and even get a cute mad scientist living in my basement. So no way in hell am I just going to sit back as one of my villainess lovers gets framed for murdering a superhero!

Dorian Hawke's daily routine was pretty straightforward. Wake up, pull his weight around the village, eat potatoes, go to bed. Not too shabby. Not very interesting, maybe, but it was honest work. Then a boat falls like a meteor from the sky. Next thing he knows, a gorgeous elf and stunning faun tell him that magical blood runs through his veins, and they need him to navigate their ship through space.

Armand, Lich Lord of the Necropolis, is bored. So very... very bored. He's guarded the greatest dungeon in the world against all comers, but the issue is, no one is coming anymore. No adventurers have fought his reanimated dragon. No heroes have fallen into the spike pits. No one's come to admire the menacing décor of skulls and warnings written in blood on the walls. Nothing! So what's a last boss to do when no one's good enough to challenge his dungeon? Why, build a party himself of course!

Riding high on their new status in the station known as Sphere, Dorian and the Dragon's Wing crew set their sights on a new adventure. Their mission? Take a shipment of cargo to Ixana, traversing the monster-infested Wyrmway. For once, they manage to double up jobs because there's a stretch of ruinspace in the exact same system that a mysterious foxgirl wants to visit.

The four rules of freelance villainy are as follows: 1. Always wear a mask 2. Never hurt civilians 3. Never kill the heroes you’re paid to fight. 4. And the bad guy always loses. And the rules worked, until I had to take down the Heroes of Earth to get Psyren back. Now, I'm not only infamous, but have a mob of villains looking to join my 'evil' organization and take over the world. And that's the good news! The bad news is the second biggest villain on the planet wants to hire me to work a fight against his hero daughter.

I've made a good career following the rules and taking on superheroes in scripted fights. But I'd never dreamed it would end up with me dating two stunning supervillainess, getting a household death ray, and having a mad scientist living in my basement. But you roll with the punches in this business. Be it coaching yandere psychics on the art of villainous monologuing, sourcing costumes from busty demonic fashionistas, or taking down a superarms dealers trying to kidnap my mad scientist. One thing's for sure, there's never a dull moment being the bad guy.
