At the close of the second millennium, humankind entered a long transitional period of decline of values, which, however, is destined to lead in the end, by intervention from higher levels, to a spiritually regenerated man. For the evolution of the human being, it is necessary that this should be preceded by knowledge of the self, knowledge concerning the self, and, finally, knowledge beyond the self. It is impossible, in other words, to study man without studying the heavens, or, conversely, to study the infinite evolutionary processes of the heavens without studying man.
