Laura, a beautiful girl with green eyes, reads The Mystery of the Book, and decides to contact the author for more information after she's impressed by the story. The two meet at the Bar Bazzanti in Gaeta, the same bar where last year he had known Sabrina, another beautiful girl with green eyes. Laura says she was fascinated by the story, and she bought from the same second-hand dealer a ring belonging to Claudia and also a postcard Vittorio had sent just before they became husband and wife. This was the last postcard left. The only one missing from Angelo`s collection.

The lucky occasion with Sabrina, a beautiful girl known by chance at Gaeta on a hot August day, transforms Paki's life. Thanks to her, Paki goes to a flea market. There he meets a wardrobe who, attracted by his sympathy, decides to give him a typewriter. At first Paki refuses, but given his insistence, he is forced to accept. That book reveals to him a great mystery. As soon as he start reading it, Paki is faced with extraordinary events, events that in a certain sense will change his life.

L'incontro con Sabrina, una bella ragazza conosciuta per caso a Gaeta in una calda giornata d'agosto, trasforma la vita di Paki. Grazie a lei, Paki si reca a un mercatino delle pulci. Lì incontra un rigattiere che, attratto dalla sua simpatia,decide di regalargli un dattiloscritto. In un primo momento Paki rifiuta, ma vista la sua insistenza è costretto ad accettare. Quel libro si rivela per lui un grande mistero. Appena iniziata la lettura, Paki si trova di fronte a eventi straordinari, eventi che in un certo senso cambieranno la sua vita.

Laura, una bella ragazza dagli occhi verdi, dopo aver letto "Il mistero del libro", rimasta colpita dalla storia decide di contattare l'autore per avere maggiori informazioni. I due s'incontrano al Bar Bazzanti di Gaeta, lo stesso Bar dove un anno prima era avvenuto l'incontro casuale con Sabrina, altra ragazza bella e con gli occhi verdi. Laura racconta che è rimasta affascinata dalla storia, e di aver acquistato dallo stesso rigattiere un anello appartenuto a Claudia e anche una cartolina che Vittorio le aveva spedito poco prima di diventare marito e moglie.
